Museum and culture house to open in memory of Qazi Muhammad 2025-06-24 09:58:09   QERS – A Museum and Culture House was established in Mevrek village of Digor district of Qers in memory of Qazi Muhammad, the leader of the Republic of Mahabad.    The "Qazî Muhammad Museum and Culture House", which has been in the works for a year by politician Mahmut Alınak, will be opened on 13 July with the participation of his grandson Kawa Qazî Şeref.   Speaking about the reason for the opening of the museum and culture house, Mahmut Alınak said, “That historical will he wrote under the gallows will be a light for the youth as long as Kurdistan, our people and history exists. I shudder when I read that will. I cannot believe what kind of courage, what king of resistance. That is why Qazi Muhammad is very special. We owe a debt of loyalty to Qazi Muhammad who guided the peoples of the world. In order to repay this debt, we will open the museum and culture house. The opening day is also the anniversary of the Zilan Massacre. Another purpose of this commemoration is to bring the Kurdish people together in a common spirit. We will also utilise the museum as a house of mourning to serve the historical purpose.”   Inviting everyone to the opening, Alınak said that the Qazi Muhammed Museum and Culture House includes a library and an area where people can relax in the garden.
