Euphrates Canton's actions and events committee made a statement on the Turkish drone attack in Barkh Botan village of Kobani city in North and East Syria. Due to the massacre in Barkh Botan village, the committee cancelled the Newroz celebrations and the actions to be held on the anniversary of the occupation of Afrin. 

 

Instead of the cancelled actions, actions will be held to protest the Barkh Botan massacre. 

 

The Newroz events to be held on 19 March in Ain Issa and 21 March in Kobani will be held on the planned dates.
