Stating that Abdullah Öcalan's call has revitalised the hope for peace, Hakan Bozkurt, Co-Chair of the Wan Branch of ÖHD, said: "However, this hope can be strengthened with the steps to be taken by the state."
IHD Co-chair Huseyin Kucukbalaban, stated that in order for the process to proceed in a healthy way, legal arrangements should be made for the physical freedom of Abdullah Öcalan and ill prisoners.
